Best guacamole in town! Great tasting more authentic Mexican food. Shrimp tacos are the best but I love many other items on the menu too. Definitely a great place to eat.

I saw this place one day and decided it would be lunch the next day. When I asked the waitress about a particular meat on the menu, she brought me a little plate with samples of meats so I could make my decision. The carnitas...is fantastic! My food came quickly and my waitress was very warm. Also, there were Hispanic people ordering with the waitress in Spanish, so I felt like I had found a place serving some AUTHENTIC tacos. I was right and the whole meal was amazing. I will DEFINITELY be eating here again next time I'm in Dublin!

This place has the best Tex Mex you can find!!!! It is all fresh and I have eaten there so much that they are all like family and know my orders and preferences.💯👌💕

If you want truly authentic Mexican food, you MUST visit La Joya in Dublin, GA. Without a doubt, this is the best Mexican restaurant we have found in Georgia, and we have been searching. The food was more than a 10 and the staff, especially Ms. Stephanie as well as the owner made sure everything was perfect. I encouraged them to open a satellite in Savannah, and will keep hoping.

Like the name says it La Joya. Which means the Jewel. That is what this restaurant is a jewel in the rough. It doesn’t look like much when you pass by. But boy is the food flavorful. The food is well seasoned and you can tell the food was made with Love. Employees are very nice and greet as soon as you step foot inside. The tacos de tripa are to die for. I ended up ordering more. Really good. If you are looking for good tasting Mexican food La Joya is the spot. Even there chips and salsa are delicious.

Been wanting to stop and try this place out. The place is small which I find more appealing then the bigger places. The FOOD was great and the people friendly as can be.... I will be back... often... and the hibiscus tea was delicious!!!

Best, most authentic Mexican food in town. This is a great place for a quick lunch their carnitas tortas and Mexican style tacos are always killer. The tacos are reminiscent of authentic street tacos with unique available ingredients like beef tongue and chicken breast for you adventurous folks. The guacamole is made fresh and is so good. They have Mexican sodas including glass bottled Coke with real cane sugar not high fructose corn syrup. They do not serve alcohol which is why I usually order takeout for dinner as there is a package shop next door. The owner is so sweet and always hooks me up with a lime for my Modelo. ;)

We really enjoyed this little Gem of.a place. Went here because of all the other good reviews it has. Stephanie was a great waitress and we were very pleased with our meals.

This place really is the jewel! They have fantastic tacos and wonderful paella. The chips are homemade and holymoly guacamole is it good. The even have homemade hot sauce that will light you up even if you are a hot sauce boss like me. Fantastic place would definitly recomend! Authentic Mexican food.

They have THE best chicken quesadilla here. They let all their meats marinate which gives it an extra boost of flavor that really ties the meal together.

Great food, friendly staff

Delicious authentic Mexican food! I love the Jamaica (aka hibiscus tea), with a choriqueso that is made with Mexican sausage on top of their tastey cheese dip. I'll usually get the barbacoa tacos with onions and cilantro, a torta with adobada, or the nachos. It is all amazing. When I have room, I'll get an order of churros. They are covered in cinnamon and sugar and come with a caramel dipping sauce!

Absolutely loved it here! The food was amazing and the hospitality even better! Being new to the area, I didn't realize they closed from 2:30-4:30 and brought a party of 4 from Swainsboro @2:30. They didn't even think twice. They treated us great and made sure we were taken care of. Excellent and 5+ stars!!! Gracias Blanca and the entire La Joya Family!!!

Food very close to authentic Mexican in Dublin! Small sparse decor but warm attentive servers. Tamales were delicious and salsa was flavorful.

Awesome staff that is friendly and welcoming. The food is always on point when i go there or order for carryout. Must say they have made a great impressiom for both me and my wife.

Quick trip to Dublin so we grabbed some dinner out. Don't ask me what we ordered. All I know is it was DELICIOUS! Everything isn't pictured. Once I began eating, documenting our experience ceased. We had appetizers, entrees, and all desserts. Their homemade Hibiscus Tea is REFRESHING & DELICIOUS!!! If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go. If you're concerned about social distancing and sanitation, no worries here. We witnessed the cleanliness, care, and concern for all the orders from kitchen to table to pick up counter. It feels good to feel like part of the family when you're sitting down at someone else's table. Thank you! When you visit, ask for Stephanie. Tell her the Hastys say Hi!

La Joya is the real deal! Every dish I have ordered has been superb,& is authentic Mexican cuisine at it's best. Also, reasonably priced & excellent service!

Stopped by for lunch and enjoyed the "create your own" pasta menu. You pick the pasta, the sauce, and up to three add-ins -- all for $8.50. It was wonderful. Our server, Dawn was awesome!

This place was INCREDIBLE. I was on a work trip from Atlanta and in search of a good, non-fast food place to eat for dinner. This place had great reviews and it did not disappoint. Their meats were so flavorful! The guac was very fresh and chips were crispy and delicious. The Joya burrito had a southwestern flavor to it. The service was so friendly and helpful. They brought out samples of the meat to try and a sample of the house made hibiscus tea. If you are in Dublin and just driving through, make it a point to stop here. You will not be disappointed.

Yummy authentic Mexican food! Very friendly helpful staff.

They use to be the best Mexican food in Dublin, but now they're meat has more fat in it than meat. It seems the quality of their meat has gone way down. They have messed up my order last 2 times I've been there and than they got confrontational and rude when told about their mess up. Found hair in my food way too many times to count, and they dont use hair nets. I've spent so much money at their location and they dont appreciate their customers at all. Found a better place in town so I will never be going to la joya again.

We were made to feel very welcome in this homey restaurant. Very friendly folks who genuinely want customers to have a great time. The food was delicious, the portions were sufficient, and the prices were very reasonable. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and take pride in their product. I will be coming back to this most excellent establishment.

My daughter took me there for my 65th birthday and it was great. The people were wonderful and even song happy birthday to me. I loved it, will be going back.

Authentic Mexican restaurant, not Mexican Americana you get everywhere else. I grew up 30 minutes from the Mexican border. This place brought me back to my childhood memories of real Mexican food.
